chapter 16 question

Examine Rue's decision to trust katniss

  1. Rue does not really seem like much of a threat in the games and is weaker than all the other tributes. In part, I think that Katniss wanted to help Rue and protect her because of the similarites, in age and attitude, to her sister Prim, but after they start to work together Katniss realozes how valuble Rue is and how Rue's knowlege can help save her life.

  2. Mary kate, you have not answered the question. The paragraph should focus only on Rue's trust. Find evidence and quotations from the book to develop your answers. Also, be careful about spelling.

    Katniss naturally seems like a trustworthy person. Rue has also been watching her, which means that Rue has a good idea of Katniss's attitude towards her own survival and her strategies.
